Our Mission

Our Mission is the Economic and Social Advancement of the poverty stricken and impoverished people of India. We propose to accomplish this goal through Educational and Vocational training classes, aimed at teaching the impoverished female class to succeed on their own, by teaching them skills and trades, so that they may better fit into the working society.

  • Promote SHG's to increase their income
  • Bring about change in the socio-economic status of target communities
  • Provide a platform for women to market their products
  • Open vocational training centres to impart training in areas such as; Beauty; Tailoring; Soft Toy Making; Knitting etc.
  • Improve income levels of target communities by training them in various disciplines and income generating activities
  • Develop literacy within target communities
  • Promote, develop and implement women's developmental activities
  • Promote, develop and implement developmental projects/programmes that seek to organize the poor around vital socio-economic issues
  • Collaborate with other organizations, associations and socities in India and abroad who have similar objectives
  • Promote community health programmes and undertake integrated child development service programmes with the cooperation of national and international child development agencies
  • Promote welfare activities for the development of deprived children
  • Undertake rehabilitation of disabled women and children through income-generating programmes like Zari work; Hand-Embroidery and Kasuti work
  • Organize conferences and seminars on social and economic matters of current interest and for the benefit of rural needy people
  • Organize Crafts Melas
  • Promote social housing with a view to inculcate community understanding and social living within the rural and tribal poor
  • Undertake projects related to integrated rural and tribal development aimed at total development of humanity
  • Free women from oppressive male-dominated practices such as wife beating; desertion; child marriage; dowry-related exploitation and alcoholism etc.
  • Establish day care centres for mentally retarded people and provide for their treatment and rehabilitation
  • Serve disadvantaged groups of the society, irrespective of cost, creed and colour
